Boyfriend Holiday Gift Guide

Hello to my girls, gays, and theys. I know buying gifts for your partner can be a difficult task and I am here to help. That being said, if you are my boyfriend reading this please click off immediately. Now that it's just us girlies here, please enjoy my top gift ideas for boyfriends this holiday season.

Rings

Jewelry is always a classic gift for your significant other. Although boys can be tricky, I find that eclectic rings are always a winner. As I'm sure you know, make sure you decipher what type of metal he prefers. I find men typically sway towards silver so the rings I found below are all silver. You also may want to check if he is allergic to any types of metal and double-check the materials of the rings before purchasing. Here are my picks from the brand Serge DeNimes. If none of these are suitable, I suggest you check out Etsy for other reasonably priced options. The links are embedded in the pictures below.

Sunnies

Sunnies are a great gift for fashionable boyfriends. I feel like they can never have too many. If you know a style he wears all the time - get the same frame in a different colour. Maybe get the same frame but switch up the lens colour. You know he likes a particular brand? Try a new frame shape.

One of my favourite places to find sunglasses is revolve since they have a wide range of prices, but pretty much all of them are chic to some degree. Here are my picks from them. Again, the links are in the pictures.

Lego Sets

For the boys who like a project, lego sets are a great option. Lego offers a wide variety of sets from the Titanic to Hogwarts. But if your bf is a car guy like mine, I think a Lego set of his favourite car is a great option. Here are some that I think maybe a hit for the car guy in your life:

Shoes

Forget the shoe theory. I think shoes are a great gift and often needed. My boyfriend repeatedly buys the same pair of sneakers every time his current pair gets too beat up. Lord knows what they're doing to them, but more often than not bfs will appreciate a new pair of shoes. Go for a slipper vibe if hes a homebody. Sneakers if he's a sneakerhead. Converse if he's literally anyone (I prefer the look of the Chuck 70s but the o.g. Chucks are great too). Also, can we all please collectively agree to not buy them those YEEZY foam slides? I actually cannot handle them.

Card Holders

If your man a) has a wallet that has seen better days b) 'doesn't need one' because he has Apple Pay or c) just uses his phone case as a wallet, a cardholder is a great idea. It's not too big, carries the essentials, and looks sleek af. Here are my picks:

Quilted Jackets/Vests

For the stylish guys who like to layer, quilted jackets are a great option. Green is probably the most popular at the moment but black is always going to be more timeless. Vests are also a great option if you are going more for style than function. Here are my picks and where they're from (link in pics):

Stussy Anything

Stussy is one of those brands that I think most guys think is cool. I could be wrong given my speciality is womens fashion, but that's just my thoughts on the matter. Pretty much anything from the brand will likely be a winner but I think they're sweaters and jackets are their top sellers. A large part of the Stussy aesthetic that guys like I think is their frequent use of the 8-ball in their designs. They even sell a set of billiard balls (pool balls) which I gifted my bf for his bday. They're great decor and a cool collector's item. I won't link the specific items as you can easily find them on the site due to their limited number of SKEWs, but here is the link to the site itself.

Caps

What guy doesn't like a new baseball cap? If he's preppy I'd go for either of the Polo options (top middle or bottom left). If he's more of a skater boy or blue-collar baddie any of the others would be great options. But quite honestly, and I may be biased, I think they're all sick.

8 Ball Decor

Unfortunately, my inspo for this idea was Pinterest so I don't have direct links to 8-ball themed items. However, as I mentioned you can find a lot on Stussy. Also check out Etsy, Redbubble, and similar sites as many artists have cool 8-ball prints, keychains, tees, totes etc.

Carpenter Pants

Last but not least one of my fave things happening in men's street style (or maybe it is just men's style TikTok) right now are carpenter paints/paint pants. They're great for him to throw on with a tee or hoodie and instantly look more stylish than he would have with a pair of simple jeans. Here are some of my faves at the moment:

That's everything I have for you guys today. Please check out my TikTok @VanillaDarling for daily fashion and style inspo.
