The Panthere de Cartier watch is one of the most coveted womens watch on the market. Thanks to Pinterest and Tiktok it has become a luxury lusted after by it girls worldwide.
With its two-tone design colourway and dainty design, the watch is extremely wearable for most women, whether they prefer gold or silver. A subtle, but not-so-subtle flex, the watch costs a whopping $18,700 CND. So while I don't want to discriminate the affluent tax bracket from my page I think it is safe to assume that the majority of you here right now don't want to drop nearly 20k on a single watch. That's why I have been on an internet scavenger hunt, searching for the best and most affordable watches that have likely been influenced by the Cartier Panthere.
Now hear me out - I am not exactly a watch connoisseur. I am, however, great at finding dupes and alternatives for pieces with a specific look to them. With that being said, let's dive in!
Cendre Australia
Cendre has quickly become my go-to for affordable, expensive-looking jewelry. Their Ava two-toned watch is nearly identical to the Panthere. Priced at $236 CAD, it is the perfect balance between an Etsy dupe and some of the more up-scale options below. It is 18K premium gold plated stainless steel & polished silver stainless steel.

Fossil
One place that I have found that has a lot of great alternatives for a fraction of the price is Fossil. I can't lie - I used to think of fossil as a dad store that sold mainly leather goods. But I am very pleasantly surprised by their variety of sleek women's watches that they offer for a couple hundred dollars.
Their closest watch to the Panthere is the Raquel Three-Hand Date Two-Tone Stainless Steel Watch. It retails for $279 CAD and is silver and gold stainless steel. Although the face is not square like the Panthere, it is rectangular which coupled with the two-tone colouring really gives off a similar look.
However, the numerals themselves are gold as are the hands, so if you are looking for the signature black numerals with blue hands - this isn't the option for you.
If you like the look of this one it also comes in solid colours including gold, silver and rose gold.
Another two-tone style that fossil offers is their Scarlette Mini Three-Hand Date Two-Tone Stainless Steel Watch. It retails for $209 CAD and it is also stainless steel.
Unlike the Raquel, the one has a bit of sparkle on the bezel like the Panthere. The face itself is round which certainly contrasts it to the Panthere but if that's your preference - well that's lucky for you isn't it!
The watch is also offered in solid silver and rose gold and those can be found here.
Hudsons Bay
For all of my Canadian friends, don't sleep on the Bay's watch section. They have decent brands and often times very good sales. For instance, at the time I'm writing this they currently have their Bay Days sale going on and you could scoop these for a good deal.
One find from the bay is The Boxy QVSGD-Q013 Two-Tone Stainless Steel Watch by Rosefield. This one actually has the square face reminiscent of the Cartier Panthere. It is stainless steel and 26 mm. Let it be known that this exact listing is a second-hand listing so if you like it, get it before someone else does. Without the bay days discount it is currently priced at $179 CAD.
Raymond Weil
This Raymond Weil Toccata Ladies Two-Tone Diamond Quartz Watch is the most expensive on this list, but also the most similar to the Panthere. Currently listed on Assaleh Jewellers for $1,057 CAD, this watch is stainless steel with yellow gold PVD plating. It is tone-tone, the roman numerals are very close to the Cartier numerals, and they are in fact black. The face is more rectangular than square but it is the closest we have gotten so far without compromising quality.
Bulova
The Bulova Sutton is one of my personal favourites from this list. It retails for $495 but if you are reading this soon after this post goes up you can get it right now on the Bulova site for $396 CAD. The face looks almost pearlescent to me which isn't the same as the Panthere but very dainty and elegant. I think this piece is timeless and great for someone who wants to invest in a watch that isn't a direct dupe of a luxury piece. It gives Cartier without looking like a rip-off. It stands on its own and I love that. Check it out!
Anne Klein
The cheapest options on this list are these two Anne Klein watches currently available on Amazon Canada.
Its two-tone, it has a rectangular face and a little bit of sparkle as well. If you are looking to hope on the two-tone trend for an affordable price, check this one out.
This second option gives the black roman numerals of the Cartier watch as well as the square face. Its is also two toned, however it looks like a bit more of a bracelet than a watch to me. I have included it in the list because it is only $67.10! Check it out if you like also on Amazon,
Etsy
Etsy is one of my favourite places to find unique pieces. Here are some of the watches I found on the platform.
This shop has pretty good reviews. They sell this watch which is very similar to the Panthere in that it has the black roman numerals against the blue hands. You can choose the colour you want but the gold and silver (pictured) is only $68.02 CAD.
I am also obsessed with this all gold version from the same brand. It is not as similar to the Panthere as many of the watches on this list but I had to give it an honourable mention since I adore it. It looks so much more expensive than it is and is a best-seller on the shop. Check it out!
Those are all of my finds for Cartier inspired affordable watches. I hope you enjoyed this post and if you did please subscribe to my blog to get notified every time I post!
