Spring is here and Mother's Day is right around the corner. As I did for the boyfriends and the girlfriends during the holiday season, I thought I would curate a list of my suggestions for what to buy your mom for Mother's Day. So whether you are buying for your mom, sister, motherly figure, or maybe even yourself, there will be something on this list that the mom in your life will surely enjoy. Let's get into it!
Aesop Hand Care
As with most gifts, the best rule of thumb when shopping for your mom is to ask yourself, 'What would she not buy for herself?'. On a trip to the mall with my mom a few months back I brought her into the Aesop store. As a fan of Saje, Aveda, and other such brands I knew she would love Aesop's products. She tried on the Resurrection hand cream and loved the smell. She just couldn't justify the price. That's why I decided to get her a tube as part of her Mother's Day gift. Luxury Candles
If your motherly figure is anything like my mom, she loves candles. She may go to Bath & Body Works every once and a while, but she likely won't buy herself luxury scented candles. This is one of my favourite gifts because you really can smell the difference between luxury and your average candle. Plus, the packaging is always much more aesthetic. You've likely seen many of these on your Pinterest boards at some point in time.

Cardholder or Wallet
Another great little luxury for mom is a wallet or card case. I have the bandit card case from Coach and 'love it. Its simple, holds just what I need, and isn't ridiculously expensive for a brand-name piece. Something to keep in mind here is your mom's current wallet. If she's Gen X, she likely has a million cards and wants a full-sized wallet. If she already has a smaller wallet and strictly uses Apple Pay, a cardholder will likely do. If you have a larger budget, a Goyard piece or Coach purse would also be crowdpleasers.
Fragrance
A woman can never have too many fragrances. Snoop around to see what she already has and try to fill in the gaps. For example, if she has plenty of florals, get her something a little spicier. I find that brands my own mom usually gravitates to include Dior, Chanel, Jo Malone, and NEST. Some specific scents that I think would go over well with most moms would be Flower Bomb and Juliette Has a Gun. My personal favourite scent at the moment is Kayali Lovefest Burning Cherry. Another great option if you aren't certain on what she would like is a set of minis so she can try them all and see what she likes.
Le Creuset Cookware
This is something that is out of my budget, but one day I would love to gift to my mom. If the mom in your life likes baking, cooking, or entertaining, she will love this gorgeous cookware. The colours they offer are absolutely stunning. Hell I don't even cook that much and I want one just to display in my kitchen.
